Mobile Application Developer Description:
The ideal Mobile Application Developer candidate is expected to have a can-do attitude, a passion for technology, strong development experience, and must be able to get up to speed quickly.
Core Key Responsibilities
The Mobile Application Developer works in accordance with the company’s software development lifecycle to design and develop both new and enhancements to software applications that meet business specification. Primary responsibilities include requirements analysis to gain an understanding of business needs to develop level of effort estimates, software design and development, unit testing, performing design and code reviews, and development of technical documentation. Additional responsibilities include performing system analysis, code modifications, and functional testing to troubleshoot application production issues. Key attributes of the mobile application developer is the ability to quickly master new technologies as needed, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a focus on delivering a high level of customer service.
Required Skills
- For Android: Java, Android SDK
- Experience with mobile development issues related to performance optimization, caching, security, and native hardware components (Camera, GPS, etc.)
- Experience with JSON, SOAP, Rest, XML and XHTML
- Experience with web front-end development frameworks such as HTML5 and JavaScript
- Good knowledge of PHP and MySQL
- Experience with Android SDK, third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of iOS SDK and XCode, iOS UX guidelines/best practice
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the company’s application portfolio, development tools, and development procedures
- Actively participate in the development and review of business and system requirements to obtain a thorough understanding of business needs in order to deliver accurate solutions
- Provide development activities level of effort and duration estimates for schedule planning
- The developer is expected to proactively manage activities to deliver required work on time
- Design application solutions that fully implement business requirements
- Develop high quality software code in accordance with established company standards and development guidelines
- Produce technical documentation that accurately and thoroughly depicts the software design and code base
- The documentation needs to sufficiently assist QA testing and production support activities
- Perform adequate unit testing of your own and other developers’ application development work
- At a minimum, unit testing should ensure all requirements have been addressed, all basic functionality works, and errors are handled properly
- Expeditiously troubleshoot application production issues that resolve the issues without causing additional problems

Web Developer Description:
The ideal Web Developer candidate is expected to have a can-do attitude, a passion for technology, strong development experience, and must be able to get up to speed quickly.
Core Key Responsibilities
- Construct, develop, code, debug and maintain web related applications
- Conform to defined software design methodologies for the development and implementation of Internet based application to support all aspects of web site functionalities
- Participate in change analysis and code reviews
- Produce solutions (both design and code) based on client concept documents and discussions
- Apply rigorous testing methodologies and use cases to analyze and verify software programs, algorithms, data transformation, forms, reports and interfaces
- Timely communication of issues and status information concerning system development activities
- Generate application test data as necessary and validate any data conversion requirements for final implementation and production rollout
- Participate in project status review meetings with the team
- Working closely with senior staff to ensure stated business objectives are met
- Delivering on the activities required to produce code modules and well tested code
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Manager
Required Skills
- 1-2 years of production programming experience of which includes solid JavaScript, PHP or .Net/C# design/coding/testing
- 1-2 years of Object Orientation software coding experience for web application
- Linux, MySQL, PHP 4/5, Apache technology experience based on LAMP model an advantage
- HTML, Javascript (jquery/bootstrap), and CSS experience
- Strong written/verbal communication
- Solid team player with a desire to be part of a dynamic start-up environment
- Strong web application documentation, design, coding and testing experience
- Proven analytical ability to create/modify application code to support new functionality
- Strong debugging experience of code written by other developers
- Proven ability to provide effort, and elapsed time estimates for assigned work
- Proven ability to execute project deliverables within effort and elapsed time estimates
- Experience with PHP Frameworks, such as Zend framework or code ignitor
- Experience with SEO, SEM and Google Analytics concepts and techniques
- Experience adapting and extending Wordpress to meet client website requirements
